Since I don't have my own studio, if weather permits, I love doing outdoor cake smash sessions. These have a more casual look to them and best to do it just before sunset for softer light and after the birthday boy/girl's afternoon nap. They normally love digging their hands into the cake which makes for very memorable and fun photos. Always remember to bring the wipes with!
